04-12-2007 Gusset - Ask Dr Kim Remixes CD Out Now!!!

Death$ucker Records releases the secret weapon of the Bristol
underground music scene on an unsuspecting world. Gusset have been
scaring friends and punters alike since 1996, unleashing aural assaults
at breakcore, techno and hip-hop nights around the city. Not to mention
anywhere else that will have them, from Brighton to Madrid. They don't
fit comfortably into any nice little pigeon hole and have a sound all
of their own, but strangely no imitators.

12-09-2007 New Releases by DJ Floorclearer & Electromeca!!!
DSR24: DJ Floorclearer - Goat Slaughterer EP mixes up new style drum n bass, Slayer, mosh breaks and punk guitars in DJ Floorclearer's unique style. This is the perfect antidote to a world full of gang violence, global warming, war and Noel Edmonds.
DSR26: Electromeca – Brutal Funk EP: Since he discovered that FM-radio could sound way much better through his SP202, Electromeca didn't stop to cut-crush-distort-chop-chew-spit-reconstruct fat & dirty beats with a delicious guilty pleasure. That's it: James Brown driving a bulldozer through a wrecking yard, hectic B-Boys breakdancing in a puddle of motor oil, The Bomb Squad meets Russolo in a Z-movie disco-club, FM-radio harshbeats, dismantled stuttering beat-box, muddy boom-bap... Basically: hard & heavily damaged club music!
These two records will be releases early October 2007!!! Check the Releases page for images and audio clips!!! Buy these releases @ DSWAT.net!!!
19-06-2007 Call For Gusset Photos!!!
from Dan Gusset:
In other Death$ucker news I had a chat with Armin over the weekend and
we've finally slated a release date for the Gusset remix album that was
now been THREE YEARS in the making. This September you will see a
bargain priced CD of remixes from Gusset's Skidmark CD-R release (last few left on dSWAT). Ask Dr Kim
– clever anagram, see? – will feature remixes from The Teknoist, Shitmat,
Jason Forrest, Parasite, Binary, Atki2, hard.off, m||m, Hoonboy,
Twocsinak and more!
We gave up on the
slutty nurse photoshoot idea due to budget restrictions (ie, £0). So
instead we will be making a collage of gusset photos. Please send
photos of your gusset to: gusset[at]gmail.com. You don’t have to be
wearing the item, just pose your pants and snap away. Photos will be
used under a CC licence and you will get a credit in the artwork. You
won't get paid mind, but you get the satisfaction of being able to
point and say;
"Check this; that's my gusset on that album cover." "Get away!" your friends will say. "No really, look, my name’s on the 'thanks' inside, here," points. "You magnificent bastard!" they will declare...
Submission deadline is 1st September 2007!!!

What
a great weekend!!! Aaron Spectre & Murderbot @ Mongrel's 1st
Birthday party, which took place down at The Blue Mountain in Bristol.
Murdrbot was on unusually early, and me in my fashionably lateness
missed his set :( although i did play with him in Glasgow @ The Grind
the previous weekend, and i danced like a madman!). Aaron Spectre's set
was 1 hour and 30 minutes of cut up amen breaks and bass drops over the
likes of The Bug etc..!!! Mind-blowing stuff!!! Anyway Aaron's "Evil
Most Foul" is sold out on vinyl, but can be downloaded from DSWAT.net
as 320kbps MP3, along with the original press release and hi-res label
artwork, all for just £2.50!!! Check it here: Aaron Spectre - Evil Most Foul - MP3
